Working alone, Jim produces around fifteen instruments per year. While retaining an elegant and sophisticated classical appearance, closer inspection reveals leading edge technological design features such as the arched braceless back (to improve volume and projection) and the carbon-fibre honeycomb lattice bracing system under the soundboard. His customers include professional players, collectors, and enthusiastic amateurs. Over the past few years, the demand for Redgate guitars has steadily increased with guitars now being sold in Australia, USA, Europe, Hawaii, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.
