The distinctive sound hole rosette is unique in design and is hand-crafted from Australian timbers and inlayed into the sound board. Designed by Jim Redgate, the colours reflect the Australian bush with the red Jarrah symbolising the sands of central Australia, the green the leaves of the Eucalypt tree and the straw colour the dry grass in the Australian bush. The outer snake like motif is reminiscent of  Australian Aboriginal artwork. Pictured is the newest rosette introduced late 2006.

The choice air seasoned and hand picked timbers used in the construction of a Redgate Guitar include Brazilian Rosewood, Western Red Cedar, German Spruce, Honduras Mahogany, Spanish Cedar and Black Ebony. Redgate Guitars are available through Classic Guitars International . All guitars are supplied in a Hiscox case which is freighted directly to your door.
